Presence ControlAccess control solutions help to protect your perimeter. But due to tailgating, badges being passed on or even being falsified, you cannot know who really is present. With Ticto you do control who is present in which zone rather than just control who can open which door. Focus on what really matters, focus on presence control.
Security Made VisibleWith Ticto you make a clear statement that your organization takes security seriously. Employees, executive management, business partners, contractors and visitors all literally ‘see’ that being present at your facilities or at your event is only possible for authorized people.
Security EngagementPeople often aren't enabled to help protect their organisation's assets. By making authorization visible, employees become empowered to take part. With Ticto they will instantly see if someone unauthorized is present around them, and can follow a pre-defined procedure to make that person aware or warn the security team.
How it works
When a Tictopass holder is allowed to be present in a certain zone, the Tictopass will move to an active state. It will show a Tictogram – an unpredictable and changing visual sequence of images. The same Tictogram will appear on all legitimate Tictopasses. Different Tictogram sequences can be used for different zones. When a Tictopass holder moves to an unauthorized zone, the Tictopass will indicate so and warn the holder. If the holder would remain in that zone, the security team can be notified to take corrective action.
Explore ways you can use Ticto
Being able to visually authenticate people or objects can enable trust, improve security and ensure compliance in a myriad of industries and use cases.
Office environments become open space areas where employees can freely move around to collaborate and exchange ideas. Yet you want to be able to restrict presence in some areas to a subset of your people, or make presence rights conditional based on time of the day, being accompanied by a specific person, etc. The Tictopass allows to shift from traditional access control - based on opening doors - to flexible presence control.
Your organisation welcomes visitors on a daily basis. Grab that first chance to make a strong first impression. Handing them a Tictopass instead of a simple paper or plastic badge will make a clear statement that your organisation takes security seriously. Your employees will recognise visitors from a distance, and through subtle color codes you can distinguish categories of visitors.
Airside operations are subject to a broad range of international, national and airport specific regulations. Whereas traditional access badges fall short in enabling granular controls in an open space environment, Ticto’s visual presence control allows to define virtual airside zones which can be enforced through different Tictogram sequences.
When being called to provide first responder services following a disaster, you want to be sure you arrive at a site where your security can be ensured. Being able to quickly validate the authentication and authorization level of law enforcement and emergency personnel around you in a subtle but secure way becomes an absolute necessity.
Tictopasses have been tested out in several industries. Those cases have proven the power of visual presence control.
